As a high school student at the Crawford County Vo-Tech's Commercial Art program, under the wonderful guidance of Dennis O'laughlin, I created a series of color studies to fuel my growing obsession with art. These artwords of narrative, color, technique, and detail helped to lay a strong foundation for my visual vocabulary and sensitivity to the fundamentals of form, color, and gestalt. I do miss those days I hope to make traditional artworks again sometime in the future.
