When I was in high school during my Junior and Senior year I spent four hours each day at a separate
vocational school, attending a program called
Commercial Art taught by my old mentor and now friend, Dennis O'laughlin. The assignment(s) I love the most were called Weekly Drawings. Every week, we would have to go out into the world and create a drawing. It could be anything. I took advantage of this opportunity spent many long hours on concepts and meticulously sharpening pencils. These are some of my more warmly favored selections. It was a lovely time.
